(May 15th, 2002)Well, Jordan has just finished writing a song. It's called Fickled. And they're going to make a demo tape soon, from what I've heard. So that'll rock. When I get more information, I'll let you know.
(June 12th, 2002)Fiasco will soon be preforming at the Battle Of The Bands! The band that wins, will get 300 dollars, and the prize is awarded to the one band that gets the most screams, cheers, applause, and basically the most response! As well as being judged by a panel of judges, who look for things such as vocal and singing qualities, musical talent, originality, and also stage presence. Wish em luck everyone!
(June 25th, 2002)I was priviledged enough to get to hear some of thier songs, and they are awesome! Any one who gets to hear them will fully agree with me :)
(July 10th, 2002) They had their first gig July 6th, at a friends party, from what I know all went well, and they did good.
(July 11th, 2002)I have a list of their songs here, they have a total of 5 songs, and a bunch more that they are working on.
1. Fickeled-A song Jordan wrote about a girl who can't make up her mind about the guy she wants, and just plays everyone.
2.Sons of glory-A song Jim wrote about the fall of Babylon The Great.
3.Flyaway-A song Robert wrote about a person that's in love, and doesn't know what to do with their life.
4.It's all right by me-A song Jim wrote about a girl.
5.Runaway-A song written by Del Shannon, and Fiasco twisted it into their own style.
(August 4th, 2002) The battle is now over, but the experience will last a lifetime. There were 6 bands there to perform. All did very well, Fiasco came in 4th. They sang 4 songs, the first was Fickled, the second was Sons of Glory, the third was Fly Away, and last but certainly not least, Run Away. All in all they did an incredible job, and I look forward to the next time I can hear them play. Way to go guys! If you would like to see pictures from the battle, go to the photo album on my site. More pictures to be added later when I get my film developed!
**SPECIAL UPDATE** I have some hott news for ya'll; the battle has been announced! Wooo! The date this year will be August 2nd, and you better know I'm gonna be there cheering the guys on! I'll let you know how it goes once it's over, and of course I will take lots of pictures so I can share them with you! Hehe. Laterz!
(August 8th, 2003) Well, the battle is now over. Fiasco placed 4th once again, out of 6 bands. Though personally, I thought they should have won 3rd, but hey, it's a tough world. Lol. They played all new songs this year, except the final song, which was 'Run Away.' But they performed a total of 5 songs. As soon as I can, I will post the pictures I took up on the photo page...well, that is if I can fit them all! I think I need to make another page for the pics! Okay, that's all for now, more updates later!
(January 13th, 2004) Not much to say, sorry I haven't updated in forever. There hasn't been much to say actually. But I recently heard the re-made version of "Flyaway" that Robert orginally wrote, and it's awesome. Matt made up some cool keyboard to it, so it's really good.
(June 6th, 2004) Sorries I haven't updated in forever, wow. There hasn't been much going on. Fiasco is kinda...on the edge right now, I'm not sure what all is going to happen. Some of the members aren't as, cooperative as they should be, and it's causing some serious problems within the band. But on a good note, Jordan just graduated Tuesday! So hats off to him! =)
